My House Has Been Hit by a Meteor!

meteor_strikeAs many of you know, a large meteor cruised across the skies of Russia a few weeks ago and wreaked havoc. The odds of this happening are apparently “astronomical”, pun definitely intended.

It was reported that several hundred people were injured by debris. In addition, photos showed several areas of heavy property damage. (more…)

Real Estate Ads and Social Media

social_mediaAgent Medea Savvy was recently sanctioned by the Real Estate Commission of her state for advertising listings in her market area on Craigslist, a search website very popular with the public. The problem was that the listings Medea advertised were not her own or even her brokerage’s listings. They were listings of competing brokerages.

What went wrong? Why did Medea get in trouble when her own company’s website and her personal agent website were able to access listings from all the brokerages in the local MLS’s, including the very listings she had posted on Craigslist?
